Last updated: 31 May 2026

This policy explains how Scanosphere, operated by Shrimant Enterprises, collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information We Collect

(a) Account data

Your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form — never in plain text.

(b) Payment data

Payments are processed by Razorpay, our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card, bank account, or UPI details.

(c) Usage data

Which scanners and features you view, and your login activity.

(d) Technical data

Your IP address, browser and device information, and cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the service.
  • To authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • To process subscription payments.
  • To send service and billing communications.
  • To send product updates and marketing communications (you can opt out at any time — see section 8).
  • To analyse usage and improve the product.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management — these are required for the service to function. We may also use analytics cookies or tools to understand how users interact with Scanosphere and to improve the product. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect certain features.

4. How We Share Information

We share data only with the service providers necessary to run Scanosphere:

  • Payment processing: Razorpay handles all payment transactions under their own privacy and security obligations.
  • Authentication provider: manages user identity and login.
  • Hosting & infrastructure provider: stores and serves the platform.
  • Market-data provider: supplies the financial data that powers screening.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties. We may disclose data if required to do so by law or a competent authority.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Your Rights below.

7. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address in section 11.

8. Marketing Communications

You may receive product updates and promotional emails from us. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us directly. Note that service and billing communications (such as receipts and account notices) are essential to operating your account and cannot be opted out of while your account remains active.

9. Children

Scanosphere is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the platform or by email. Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
